Leigh Mitchem
Hi, my names Leigh I have worked within the animal industry for over 15 years from running my own dog walking and pet sitting business to working in the animal feeds industry, advising customers on their pets nutrition and as a qualified SQP, their pets worming and parasite programmes.
I am the proud owner of a Border Collie, two horses and four cats. Having had my youngest horse from 6 months old, I was privileged to be able to back and bring her on myself and skills learnt in this process, have served me well in the pursuit of my dog training qualifications.
I'm a certified trick dog instructor and evaluator with the worlds leading trick organisation Do more with your dog.
I'm also an accredited agility 1st instructor.
With Drummer, my Border Collie, I enjoy his day to day training - everyday is a new challenge with a young, working dog! We were super excited to pass our UKSD Constable Level Scent Dog Assessment. We have started our agility competitions in 2023 and are excited to see how Drummer progresses.
